Happy Weekend All! 

Today, I went all out to give myself an early birthday present. Ok, I will be honest! I spent the whole week giving myself stuff for my birthday, BUT this one was the BEST treat. They say experiences remain with you forever and they last longer than any item you could buy, so I did that :D  I got an IPL laser treatment done, eyebrows threading, a facial and a back massage *mashallah mashallah* and let me tell you it was the best thing I have done. I let myself go for the past few weeks and life got on the way, but after giving myself the time I deserved I felt much better. Moral of the story is: Ladies treat yourselves every once in a while coz you deserve it!

Here's a review of the beautiful place I went to to get all the above done. It is called Lumiere Laser Clinic. Of course I did my research and compared between lotsa places all around London, but Lumiere stood out with its glowing reviews on Wahanda   and I am glad it did. 

I felt very welcome and special from the first second I arrived. First the location is great. Right behind Harrods, and just few seconds walk from Knightsbridge underground stop. The clinic is cozy and stylish with a luxurious feel through the golden color choices and the very soft fabrics. Adeela Khan, the owner and the therapist was amazing. She really knew what she was talking about. At the beginning she offered me refreshments and explained the treatment and answered all my questions professionally and patiently.

The IPL treatment went really well. Obviously, I felt some pain because it is laser and surly there is pain otherwise the treatment wouldn't work, but the therapist was very nice and didn't mind giving me few breaks in between. She cared about my comfort and I was very pleased. I am looking forward to seeing the results. It is still early to tell. 

Where the treatment took place

I loved the ambiance so much that I booked another treatment. I went for the festive pamper package, which including the best facial I ever had, eye brows threading, and a wonderful massages for the neck/shoulders/head and back. This was my favorite thing EVER. I enjoyed it so much that I want to make it a monthly treat *mashallah* The facial made my face feels so smooth and super clean. I am going to let it breath for the next few days. She used great products. They all smelled so good. My face felt so rejuvenated. The eyebrows threading was very professional and one of the least painful threading treatments that I had. Not to mention, I look like a grownup now *bonus*. The massage was very relaxing, and I just didn't want it to end. The techniques used were really nice. The price for this package was SO worth it. Highly recommended. After the treatment you get fresh fruit tea and classy nibbles (As if I needed more spoiling).   

Of course I had to eat the macaroons. I just couldn't say no!
