Making a Room


Start with a box for the room
Size of box: 7000*5000*2500
Convert the box into editable poly
Go to modifier list, choose shell
Then add an outer amount of 260 which is the exterior wall
Door and windows
Make a box
Bring it closer to the room
Then go to compound objects, choose Boolean
Subtraction B-A
Pick B (the door box)
RESULTS
Make windows, make a shape for the window
 then select it go to compound object, Boolean and subtracts
Add a camera from view and just play with it

Making a Table


How to make a whole table leg  only from drawing one side:
Start with the table top by drawing a box of 1500*750*20
Make sure of the height of the table by entering 750 into the Z coordinates in the bottom
Now start the leg in the left view by
Going to shapes
Choose splaines then line
Start from top to bottom with the centre line
After drawing it make sure you convert it to editable splaine
Choose vector points
By choosing vector points you can just move them till they are fixed
Now make it a whole by going to modifier list, click L then choose lathe
Try min, cen, and max in align, with mine max was the right option
Now array the legs to have a set of 4
Go to top view, and move the leg into the right position
Array it now
In the 1 D the count should be 2 and go into –X until it looks right
To do the other one, in 2D change the Y
Results
Now group all 4 legs
Select them, click group from the top menu
align it to make sure it’s all centered  then only click the Z and choose max on one side and min on the other

Making a Screen: 
Make a box
Convert to editable poly
Then you get selections in red on the side, choose polygon:
Then choose extrude from the side insert and choose extruding
Set the height to 2 cm
Now bring the top part of the box in the middle by using Bevel which u can select and use the mouse to bring it to center
Then extrude from the middle part I made with the bevel, and make screen
Make box then convert it to editable poly and choose polygon.
Fix the screen by extruding it to the inside
Making a key board
Start with creating one key
And to do that create a box
Make sure it’s 3*3*3
Convert it to an editable poly
Change the color to give some contrast
Then choose polygon and scale the top to shrink it
Now we want to add a little dent in the top
So click tessellate to add more faces and apply it 3-4 times
Now go to soft selection and tick the box that says use soft selection
After selecting click move to make the little dent
Select the edges then click edges then chamfer
Right click on grey area click extra it brings array
First make sure you click preview
First go to 1D you have 10 units then go to first line and add Xs  then do 2D and Y
Then you will have rows of keys
Make a mug by creating a teapot and removing the lid
And scaling it

Tires & Racks

Starting with example about tires and racks (this file was given by the tutor and I had to complete it)
First move tire out of the way
By clicking w and moving the arrow
Now going to draw more shelves
To do so, review the snaps you have on by right clicking on the magnet symbol
Just click by the ones u want. Click box and draw it above the rack
Then copy the same shelf by clicking W then shift and move the arrow down
Move the tire back in the rack
Scale it if it was too big by clicking R and just playing with the arrows till the size is to your satisfaction
Copy more tires now
Type how many copies you want and click ok
Make them life-like by changing their angles through rotating R
Now put the other tire on top by selecting it (Q)
Keep changing them adding more till you are happy
